The degree of ‘Bachelor of Education’ (B.Ed.) offered by universities is a must to enter the noble profession of teaching. Invariably, most of these colleges of education are situated in towns and cities. The College is situated in a quiet rural atmosphere, even a little away from the main village of Royappanpatti.

Brothers took the novel and foresighted initiative of establishing the college of education in this rural village so that the college graduates from the surrounding villages can access the teachers’ education without going to cities and towns and having to pay dearly for boarding and lodging.
